Maja Staleska
Maja Staleska is the President and Co-Founder of the Housing and Tenants' Organization (HTO) in Skopje, North Macedonia, where she leads initiatives promoting affordable and sustainable housing, tenant rights, youth and housing, and social inclusion.
Maja holds a degree in Social Work and Social Policy from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and has over 15 years of international experience in developing cross-border partnerships, EU-funded projects, and innovation initiatives across Europe and the Balkans. She is also the Founder of Medinnova and Co-Founder of Aspire Accelerator, leading programs in health innovation, women entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. She is also the Deputy Director for Macedonia at United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD), strengthening cooperation between the Macedonian diaspora and institutions in support of national development.
Committed to social impact, Maja mentors young people from vulnerable communities and develops initiatives that empower women, promote social equity, and advance housing rights.
